More studio time with Dodecky.

We spent a couple more hours in Tom Menig’s Sundial Studios, and got some great audio recorded. Visa Eskima and Tom Menig lent their incredible talents to the process for demos of country, blues and rock through Dodecky. Check out the Dodecky page for the recordings. Thanks Tom, Visa and John!

Here is a link to Youtube video of Tom recording the lead track for the country demo.

John Girton recording a jazz track. This video has remastered audio from the demo recording.

Visa Eskima recording the rhythm track for the demo of Walk, don’t Run.

First recording session today

Today, we had local guitar great John Girton, formerly of Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks and Maria Muldaur, record a track for us at Tom Menig’s Sundial Studio. Tom will be using a Shure SM57 for all our recordings, in order to not flavor the tone. John played an Eastwood hollow body through our Dodecky Bullseye model, and it was pure magic. John is a fantastic musician, and his talent was beautifully realized through the Dodecky. The tone was incredible. We will have the track up on the site in the near future, along with some video of the session. Thanks to Tom and John for their time and talents!

First cabinets came back from paint

Wow, they are stunning. Shane and Jason over at New Look Painting did a fantastic job! Can’t wait to show folks the results. Next week: Studio time to record demos.

3…2…1….

We are about to announce liftoff! Watch this space in the next week or two for our debut of Dodecky. The biggest thing to happen to guitar amps since the invention of the wheel.
